J.K Rowling said that there were two things that she noticed in the Prisoner of Azkaban movie that unintentionally foreshadowed what would happen in the Deathly Hallows book.

After re-watching the Prisoner of Azkaban, I think I might have noticed one. The part where Harry is going up to Buckbeak in Care of Magical Creatures and Hermione gets nervous and grabs Ron's wrist and then they both blush and it us awkward. I think that's one of them, since it's foreshadowing Ron and Hermione getting together.

I have absolutely no idea what the second one is.

What do you guys think they are?

  1. good question i think that you are right on the first one but i have no idea about the second

  2. honestly if you REALLY watch the movie closely there is much more than two instances of foreshadowing one of the biggest ones being Trelawney's prediction of the dark lord rising to power again

  3. I think the second one is when Remus tells Harry about how Lily Evans could see the beauty in everyone, even if it's not immediately obvious to everyone else; foreshadowing for her friendship with Snape, probably, and how Snape was in love with her for her kindness.

  4. well the ron and hermione thing was actually brought on in the sixth book...but i can't think of them right off hand...

  5. Can't think of any, but in the fourth one, when they go to the hogs head, a goat walks by, and in the books it is said that Aberforth (dumbledores brother, who also happens to be the owner of the hogs head) has a certain problem with goats.

  6. i think you're right about the first but i have no idea about the Ron and hermione thing but i have no clue about the 2nd
