What were these dolls called?

In the mid to late 1980s or early 1990s, there were these dolls that looked like Barbies, but were metallic. There was a pink one, a blue one, and a purple one. Does anyone know what they were called?

I looked on another site that suggested that they are maybe called Spectra Dolls. The pictures I found were not very helpful so I am afraid that I can't provide with a site and picture.
