What were you doing around this time 10 years ago , August 1998 ?

I was on holiday in Los Angeles, California for 2 and half weeks, boy was it hot that summer - the guys at Venice beach were incredibly hot and toned, everywhere I looked 'hot guys, hot guys and more incredibly cute hott guys *drools* lol :-)

so what were you doing around this time 10 years ago ? do you even remember ?

i remember exactly!  i had just given birth to my first child and was moving house, all within the same week, then two weeks later was arranging my husbands 30th birthday party.  the month was mostly a blur of breastfeeding and sleeping!

I had just gotten back from a year of living in Europe through my grad school. I was working in the library getting ready for my last semester, and working up the courage to call this guy I was chatting with online, who I would meet two weeks later, fall head over heels in love with, and eventually marry.

I would have been enjoying my school holidays (before going into my final year of comprehensive), mainly going out mountain biking through various forests with three of my classmates. Good times.

I had left home fro the first time and had decided that I wanted to live my own life and do what I wanted to. Boy was I wrong. I did get something wonderful out of my rebellion. I met my husband and we have two wonderful beautiful children.

I remember being really excited because my little sister was going to be born, we spend almost 2 days in the hospital waiting for her to arrive.
