What were you doing when 9/11 happened? I was eating breakfast watching the TV in Nashville Illinois

I was asleep when it all began. My ex-sis-in-law from Nebraska called to see if we were ok because she knew we were pretty close to where the plane went down in PA. My hubby answered the phone and was in shock to hear what she was asking. He woke me up and we turned on the TV and just stared in silence.

i was in either 3rd or 4th grade and i was on my way to class when i saw all the techers whispering and watching their tv's. when i got home my parents tried to explain what happened but i walked away thinking that tourists were bombing us. it was a crazy time because my dad is in the military and he was convinced he was going to be called to fly up there and help whatever way he could

I was getting ready to board an airplane.  Needless to  say, my flight was cancelled.

I was at school on my fresh man year in my english class with my english teacher until a few mins later i heard on a radio he had on that the twins towers got strucked by an airplane later that day then i heard that it was a terrorist attack.

My mother came to pick me up of concern that the whole entire city was under attack. She came to pick me up and send me to new jersey along with the rest of my brothers and sisters out of fear.

At first i never knew the twins towers existed because i never traveled that far from home and until i heard the news when i got home and see what were the twins towers.
