What were your favourite names when you were young?

Question

When I was seven my favourite name for a little girl was Kayley.

My taste in names has changed completely; now I love the names Alice, Juliet and Lucia. Has anyones else's favourite names changed as they've grown older?

the only one I really remember liking was Riley for a girl.

I swore up and down I would name my kids names like Abigail, Victoria and Leigh.  I still like those names, but I think the main reasons that I don't intend on using them anymore is that they have either negative associations and I've heard more original names that I like better.  :)

When I was about 10, I remember seeing a name on a billboard and telling my mother I wanted to name one of my kids that when I grew up. It was:

                                 Llewellyn

I have absolutely no attraction to that name whatsoever now!

I loved Josie and Layla. I still sort-of like both, but my girls are named Miranda, Felicity and Nicola!

When I was in high school thinking about names I liked, I liked names like Destiny and Heaven, but now I think that those names would be cheesy and like much more classic, even old-fashioned names like Genevieve, Charlotte, Gwendolyn, Antoinette, and Juliette. I also appreciate the idea of using a family name a lot more than I did when I was younger.

I liked Sydney.

when I was in Australia I thought it was so cool that one of my friends was named after Sydney, Australia.

For a Boy I liked Deacon, my best friend's name.

But I thought about how much I liked the name's when I was pregnant and I wound up naming my kids Natalia & Preston.

YES my favorite name when I was little was Ashley and Amanda - really standard names :)

My new favorite names are Nathianel, Blake, Blaire, Remington, Reagan, and Elle :) and Charlotte and Louise for middle names

Younger, I loved the name Rosie and Lily. My mom loved flows and we had a gorgeous garden that so many people were infatuated with and I kinda just fell for the names. Silly, huh? Can't say my taste has changed much instead I prefer Rosalind instead of cutesy Rosie.
