  1. non if you are on a island with fire, the water must be like 200 degrees lol, kidding you would probably like to get a long wet suit and wear some water based lubricant underneth if you dont want to get a rash, im serious you dont want a rash, it'll keep you out of the water for like a week.

  2. i would prefer to you to get a full 4/3 wetsuit or if its a little bit colder get a 6/5. i wouldnt think you would need boots or gloves.

The second link shows current and average ocean water temperatures. based on that, I would say right now (July 26) you don't need any wet suit).

The first link is a pretty good water temperature/wetsuit thickness guide.

having surfed all of my life ( since 1966) in the Northeast, I would say that you can surf from spring until October with a nice 3/2 spring suit. If you want to battle the winter water, you'll need  3/2 full suit, a 4/3 full suit and good gloves and booties. I'm not a hood kind of guy, but they come in real handy in December for most folks.

  4. I don't know the temperature there, but this link should give you an idea of the thickness.

And since all wetsuits are not sized identically, and some are made for different water sports, I recommend that you go to a surf shop to get the right fit and type. If the water is pretty chilly, get a welded seam suit to prevent the cold water from entering through the seams. The initial cost may seem a bit steep, but a good suit will last many seasons if properly cared for.

  5. Click on the link I am providing.

Do not get a springsuit, because it will be too cold.
