What what registered postal service would be used for an item being shipped from Thailand to U.S.?

I bought an item on Ebay from a seller who lives in Thailand. I want to be able to track the item as it is being shipped. He gave me the item no. and said it was being shipped through registered air-mai. So whats registered air-mail in Thailand??

Have him ship it  FEDEX  or UPS.
