What what types of plyometrics should I do to train for baseball?

  1. For my high school team our coach was with the Mets minor league for yeah and here what he has us do for conditioning  

    Dots- witch is like box jump

    Wood Splits- you have a medicine ball and you have to act like your chopping wood.

    Heel tosses- you throw the medicine ball from different stances.

    Ladders- run through the rope

    Shuttle Run- run back and forth

    Jumprope, Sprints, Sit Ups, Push Ups and Tossing the Ball around


  2. really box jumping is the only plyo type exercise i know.. the best way to do that for increase leg stregth and stamina is to do "pyramid" plyos

    get the boxes or stands of whatever you use and line them up so they progress from shortest at the ends to that tallest in the middle..thats what i did when i ran track and it did help for baseball
