  1. Here some information that may help you in your search for programs of wildlife conservation in the south asian countries:

    ZOO OUTREACH ORGANIZATION:

The role of Zoo Outreach Organization is to encourage and promote the study of bats (Volant [flying] mammals) of South Asia, by organizing and running a network of bat specialists, and to provide them useful services. Also to catalyze, organize, conduct and follow-up conservation assessment and other workshops and training exercises for bat specialists of South Asia and public education projects as appropriate, nationally or regionally

WCS ensures long-term monitoring of a selected region or species by funding ongoing graduate projects. 2. Wildlife in South Asia is passing through worst phase presently. Our ancestors had been living with the Motto LIVE AND LET LIVE but with time and cultural changes noe we are killing wild animals and cutting down forests.

We have become materialistic and do not care for coming generations even though we understand our forests and wildlife are important for the whole ecosystem and survival of our children.

Many organisations / NGO's are working and trying to create awareness but these are all based on so called scientific system imported from european nations and US and other so called developed nations who have failed in saving their own wildlife, killed and eaten most of it.

Population explotion is a very big problem and is taking its toll. Wild animals propogate keeping in mind the available resources but we humans unmindfully. Our EGO makes us believe that we can surpass any natural calamity or problem.

Our NGO's and government have all failed in controling poaching, degradation of forests, over exploitation of natural resources and pollution. This is taking its toll on our wildlife.

We need to work on revival of conservation principles in our culture and this is the only most effective way of saving wildlife.

  3. Tigers are the main aim as they are at the brink opf extinction but 100% success is not achieved in preventing the killing and hunting of tigers it can be stopped only when the poachers stop hunting

There is a popular saying "When the Buying Stops The Killing Too Will"

Tigers are killed for their fur
