  1. I think he will move up to super middleweight and eventually win a title at that weight. Calzaghe is unlikely to fight at super middleweight again, and that will leave three vacant titles and apart from Kessler i dont see anyone in that division Taylor couldent beat.

  2. He'll still be around. After the fight his trainer said he'll go back to the gym, train harder and go for another shot down the road.

  3. He's a great young fighter, he'll bounce back.  He didn't get destroyed by Pavlik, he actually fought a great fight.  Several of the rounds were very close and if the close rounds that went to Pavlik had went to Taylor, he would have pulled out this decision.

    He'll be back.

  4. He made adjustments and looked better in his last fight surviving against Pavlik where last time he was knocked out. Hopefully he has learned a bit from this and since he is moving up to supermiddleweight he can enter being a little more wiser and able to avoid the power of the heavy hitters. I predict that he will take on a wellknown fighter like a Saikio Bika, Peter Manfredo Jr. or a Jesse Brinkley before the year is over to gauge where his place is among the super middleweights. I think he had an excellent start to a promising career and as long as he continues to train hard and work on his stamina and defense he will make a big impact no matter what division he is in.

  5. His promoter Lou Dibella said that HBO has agreed to brodcast his next fight.Taylor will be fighting from now on at super middleweight, although I believe he could still make 160.There is talk of him getting Joe Calzaghe after the B-Hop fight.

  6. Unfortunately, I think he falls to the ranks of pretenders.  I'm not a top analyst, but I was never impressed with J Taylor.  I always felt he took too many shots.  If he moves up ta a natural weight and get some one to help him with his defense, he will eventually get another shot.

  7. he says he will train harder and you may see fight at friday night fight on espn.

  8. he's moving up to super middle 168. He can't make 160 anymore.
