What will Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, and..?

Other American cities look like in 20 years? What will happen to the suburbs, single-family neighborhoods, streets, freeways, street layouts, existing businesses, etx.? And what will be the primary form of transportation?

There will be more electric cars, but that will not solve traffic problems.  There will be pay-as-you-go toll roads.  Businesses will move to the suburbs and some will change their business hours.
