Although I am Republican I am dissatisfied with many health care plans. I feel the discrimination should stop.

  1. More Red Tape, More your not poor enough, More Forums to fill out, More proof you aren’t a "Cry baby", more foreigners you can't understand that you have to talk to, more waiting, and more you owe us a million dollars for the “Wonderful“ job we did for you. Believe me I'm fed up with this I may not have problems with my health care but one of my friends from work does she has some "women" problems, doesn't have health insurance and can't afford to even have the tests the doctors recommend much less any treatment she could be in very serious danger and yet she can't do anything working at Dunkin Dounuts and having to take care of a boyfriend that just got his hand crushed into a million pieces by some klutz factory worker. Oh and note that she is only 18 and DID NOT bring this upon herself and is NOT imagining it. Contrary to popular Republican belief not all of everyone’s problems are there own fault only people who haven’t had to go through anything and have had life easy believe that bull.

  2. Just Lip Service.

Amazing, he tells us; "We need Health Care We can Afford" Yet, he tells us the Democrats plan of telling us; "We need Affordable Health Care" is the wrong plan and equates to 'Socialized Medicine

It matters not which plan is signed into law; "We, The Taxpayers, will be hosed for the majority of the costs of either plan.

I suggest you go to your State's Welfare Office and present your case to see if you are eligible for State Assisted Health Care.

I know in Tennessee, they have 'Cover Tennessee for folks who are in your shoes.

    Prayers be with you.

  3. "But He Wants to Tax Our Health Benefits. McCain would make employer-paid health premiums part of taxable income, creating a new tax on working families. He would drive insurance costs up further by promoting high-deductible health savings account plans. (Health08.org Forum, 10/31/07; Kaiser/HRET Employer Health Benefits 2007 Annual Survey; Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, 9/20/06, 4/5/06)"

  4. Click the links.  Nothing really.

Remember, the USA spends more on healthcare PER PERSON than any other nation on the planet.  Despite that, it has one of the highest death rates for kids aged under five in the western world.

Does an American four year old deserve to die for lack of insurance when they would have a better chance of life in a different western country?

  5. You know healthcare is a tricky subject.  I looked at Obamas and McCain's plans.  One of the reason, why I can't get with McCain is because of his healthcare platform.  I don't like the idea of universal health care, but it's better than nothing.  Health insurance  is not going to go down just because everyone is buying it.  Competition is not going to drive down prices.  The premise doesn't work with car, fire or home insurance.  I got insurance at work and I'm good.  My mom job got shipped to Mexico.  She's been paying COBRA over 500+/month to keep her old insurance.  She has glacoma and her meds are about 100 co-pay, NO insurance company is picking her up.  We've gotten like 5 rejection letters.   She's on month 13 in 5 months she will not be covered.   What happens then?????  His plan won't work for her!

    That's why I'm voting Obama.
