What will a female budgie do when it is pregnant?

How will i know when my budgie is pregnant, she is in the cage with a male budgie and has beeen since Christmas and lately she has been actin strange for a weak now, whats wrong?

Hi,

The hen will start spending more time in the nest box and will remove some of the sawdust. As well with my budgies then the hen gets fatter around the vent area as the egg is close to being laid.

she probably doesnt feel comfortable with him around. normally she would be pulling feather out or looking for nesting mateirial.

It likes to sit on its food cup, always like to go to a corner and so called "sit" down and they will most likely look bigger in size.
