  1. The most important question you should be prepared to answer is "why do you want to work here?"

Good answer = I am moved to compassion when I see people suffering, and I want to meet their needs as best I can.

Good answer = I plan to enter a health-care related field when I graduate, and I want to know the real ins and outs of hospital routines so I can make a good career choice.

Bad answer = I love blood.

  2. It will be casual. Remember, they are not paying you for anything. Free labor! They will make sure you won't do anything stupid like steal so they're ask some light pressure questions and hobbies. You'll be "working" near patients so they want to make sure you can be trusted.

  3. The questions for mine really just were questions that were on my application.  You will most likely get in unless there's something bad on the application.  If you've got the interview you probably are going to get the volunteer job.  It won't be strict I'm betting because you are not getting paid, and anyone who works in a hospital couldn't be that bad.  I wouldn't worry about it.
