What will adhere to shiny tile? I am trying to glue the bracket for the hand held shower head.Nothing works!?

I am trying to glue the bracket onto tile for the hand-held part of the shower head.Nothing works! I've tried super glue, even "mighty putty!" When I ask at the home improvement stores, no one seems to know. Surely I'm not the only one to have had this problem??? Thanks for your input.

Use sand paper on the spot where you want to stick your bracket.  The finish on the tile is what is keeping it from sticking.  So sand, put on your glue and then your bracket.

Hi Kona,

You need to outline the footprint of that which you are gluing and rough up the traced area.  If you have a Dremel tool, that'd work, or put a masonry bit on your drill and make multiple shallow holes.  Once you get under the glaze, most glues will stick to the absorbent white bodied ceramic.
