  1. If you are filing for an H-1B the company has to show ability to pay such as coporate tax returns, for the past couple of years, they should have a federal identification number, they need to show a need for your particular job.

    You need to have a bcahelor's degree or higher, the foreign evalent or experience that wil be evalauted to be at least a bachelor's degree.

    If it is an L-1 then the company has to show that there is a direct link such as branch, affilate, or subsidary of the foergin company and you wil be transfered tot the states to perform these duties, they also have to show ability to pay. You should have been working for the overseas company for at least 1 yr. in the past 3 yrs

    they first want to know if he is illegible to get into the US program to hire outside help of the country,

    probably taxes, business licences,

    he problably will have to fill out some paper work also;
