  1. none, we have tollally differant  ways of seeing things .eg uranium mining , U.S war ships  and we are to far apart, and independant differant races of people. They might like it because Australia is a richer country  than N.Z and could bleed us dry  to prop up their own poor state of affairs.

  2. It would ruin NZ, the way that it has ruined Tasmania.  Australia has a currency that is kept extremely high by its vast mineral wealth.  NZ with the Australian currency would be uncompetitive on world markets for agricultural products, just as much of Australia is today.  NZ would be depopulated.  The private sector would contract mightily and public sector dead end jobs would increase dramatically, just as public sector jobs of importance would be gone to Sydney/Canberra.  Before the 1970s mineral boom, Tasmania had a vibrant private sector.  Australia also has effectively outlawed lower taxes in places like Tasmania compared with Sydney, so there is no incentive to decentralize.  This has been done through uniform taxation, the GST, and the Loans Council.

  3. I can't see any benefits at all. Australia is beautiful the way it is, and New Zealand is beautiful the way it is also. It's best to leave things the way they are. If it isn't broken, why try to fix it. Their good and we're good, you know what I mean.

  4. I have no idea, but I think it would probably be more beneficial for Australia than NZ...

  5. right now they are 2 different countries.  The only thing they have in common is that they both once British colonies.   A lot of water seperate the two.

  6. as Asian.i don't think so have any benefit for both.Actually this  is a complicated question Max.

  7. well everything that goes to new zealand goes through australia first so if new zealand were a part of australia it wouldnt have to pay taxes and tariffs and stuff

but i dunno, new zealand is already very much a part of australia

like if you're a new zealander you can become a permenant resident of australia with ease

and australian can go to a new zealand university and pay the local fees
