Well right now Celtics recently lost James Posey, most of the time the winning team isn't the best. But you also have to include that the eastern division is really weak. It's either the Lakers or Hornets.

The Lakers seem like the best with Anderw Bynum

If not them, the celtics and the rockets seem like they got better, with Yao healthy they could possibly be the best. Look at what they did without him last year

it is going to be a fun year.every team is restocked with new stud players.

Id say the Lakers will win the title,and the 76ers will be the East champs (i kno im going out on a limb,but the Celtics are old, and the Pistons just signed Kwame!)

ROCKETS! The NEW Big Three... T-Mac, Artest and Yao. The only reason nobody has heard any good reviews of them is because of their injuries. But this season, if everybody stays healthy, this would be our super lineup....

It's difficult to say with all the trades going on. I really think the Lakers have a great chance, but Ronny Turiaf just got traded to the Clippers, so there goes a pretty good defensive player. It will be hard to say until the season starts and won't get much easier until the trade deadline. But I think the teams who have the best chances are the Celtics (Repeat), Lakers, or the Hornets. I don't think the Spurs can pull it off, they're all getting a little old for basketball, ya know?

Well, since I live in Boston, I want the Celtics to be the best. But thing is, the Lakers now have a recovered Andrew Bynum, Lamar Odom, Pau Gasol, Kobe Bryant, and they're getting Sun Yue from China, the "Chinese Magic." So, I'm guessing the Lakers will be the best.
