What will be the gift everyone wants, but no one can get this Christmas?

I've been caught out too many times, I could not get a Nintendo Wii last year, and had unhappy children who wanted Tracey Island or previously the Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story and those Trainers with wheels on the bottom!

The list is endless of my failures(!) where I have not been able to get hold of the gift everyone wants.

This year I determined to make sure this does not happen, any ideas on what everyone will be after for this years must have gift?

Come on make me the best Uncle, Godfather and Husband with your suggestions/predictions?

It's still a little early for the buzz about holiday toys to be starting generally you start seeing and hearing about what will be popular by late August - September.

So far this year a few things that are popular include:

Bakugan, Chaotic, Barbie Diamond Princess, Martian Matter Ripstik and Power Wing

Wii is still popular will probably be hard to get again at holiday time.

Games will be big this year - Wii Fit is already impossible to find, Guitar Hero 4: World Tour is coming in November.

But trends changes as faster than kids can change chanels. So keep your eyes and ears open and I know it sounds silly but sometimes to see whats most popular with the kids is to sit down and watch some kids TV - just for the commercials.
