  1. The cost depends on which place you go to. So look for places and see how much they cost. Also, some other events are reining, breakaway, calf roping, steer wrestling, goat tie, pole bending, bull riding, steer stopping, calf tie, team roping, team penning, etc....... I hope I helped you a lot!!!!!

  2. I'm a jumper, and i have 2 private lessons a week. A private lesson at my barn costs about $30, but I'm pretty sure you can find somewhere cheaper. Maybe start out with group lessons? They're cheaper and more fun!

  3. For my lessons(all private) are $25 per 1/2 hour and $35 for 1 hour.

I ride English but for like a helmets I bought a Troxel for about $40 and breeches for around $70ish. For boots it can vary greatly to brand and what type. I'm pretty sure the western boots won't be that expensive though you won't need anything fancy in the beginning and you can ride in jeans.

                           -New saddle:$1,000 (about)

~Saddle-pad(s) (depends on what you need): $39.99-200.00

    ~Girth:

                 -Western fleece cinch:$19.90

                 -Equi-grip girth w/ roller buckle:$34.90

    ~Reins:

                   -Cotton:$7.00-15.99
