I think the first couple of games are going to feature the defenses of each of the respective teams, the scoring won't open up till the later games. For the first game, I am sayin Pens 2-1. Go Penguins!

I like how all the Pens fans that posted answers only know about what their team can do, and probably haven't watched anymore than a highlight reel of a Detroit game.  I'm not sure what the score will be, because this is going to be an intense and either high scoring, or low scoring series.  Pens fans, do you realize that it's hard to score 4 goals against the Wings?  Especially a team that plays puck possession almost to perfection like Detroit does.  Plus, Pitt's faceoff percentage is downright awful, and you can't possess the puck that often if you don't win faceoffs.  Not to mention the fact that the Pens haven't had a faceoff against Detroit, who thrive on that aspect.  Also take into account that Osgood hasn't allowed more than 3 goals against this whole postseason, and your predictions sound even more ridiculous.  But, since I will take a guess and answer the question,   the score of the first game will be 3-1, with either Detroit or Pittsburgh winning.
