What will break down dog waste? We do scoop,what then, we have Great Danes. This is a serious question.?

My son and I live side by side with a joined yard behind a six foot fence. we own 4 beautiful Great Danes. There is a lot of waste,disposal is a real problem. It is picked up frequently, serious answers only,please!

I believe commercial disposal systems are available - the waste biodegrades with some kind of chemical or enzyme. Available at most large pet supply stores and i'm sure online.

You could consider investing in a Doggie Doolie.  It's a small Trash Can that you bury in your yard.  You fill it with an enzyme power that is supposed to break down the p**p and "eat" it so to speak.  I've attached a link I believe you can order it from Drs. Foster & Smith.

The agility trainer has one in her yard and the dogs are supposed to "go" before class and she has us put the p**p in there.  And that's a lot of students.

i'm not sure if this is a good thing but i put mine in my yard waste, not in a bag or anything.  it goes to a different fill that i assume is all natural stuff.

If you have a compost heap, throw it on that, or if you live in the countryside or near a farmer, ask if you can throw it on the bonfire next time he has one.

There is a disposal system that consists of a container you bury in the ground and I think you add enzyme powder. Check into that. I don't know what it's called, but have seen them.
