  1. pour hot water over it the wax will melt.

  2. It depends on why you're cleaning your board...If it's to sell it, you might want to follow the advice of the person who said to get the stuff that makes it shiny.

On the other hand, if it's because you want to put a fresh coat of wax on it, all you have to do is set it out in the sun and it'll start melting.  If you're at the beach, you can put sand on it and the sand will absorb the melted wax, and you can then just rub it all off the board.

As for the graphics...  Are they stickers you put on top of the board, or are they underneath the fiberglass as part of the board's original design?  If under the fiberglass, then nothing's going to affect them; but if they're stickers on top, you'll have to be gentle and not use acetone or any harsh abrasives.

    Good luck!:)

  3. Scrape the old wax off. You can use either a wax comb or an old scratched up CD that won't play any more.  If you want to remove the residue you could use either a wax remover (s*x Wax x*x or Wax Pickle) or if you have some Goo-B-Gone or one of those orange oil based cleaners they will strip it right off.  Make sure you wipe down the board with a clean paper towel afterwards to remove a residual cleaner.

If you are just worried about changing wax temps you can apply colder wax over warmer wax since the cold wax will be softer.

  4. go to a surf shop and get like skimboard wax remover,,,,it puts like a protective shield over your board plus makes it shiney
