  1. Hmm..is this an opinion question?

it's sort of like the question imposed on uh...Luna lovegood in harry potter at the ravenclaw trap door.

"Which is first, ashes or phoenix?"

the answer given was "there's no beginning to a circle".

    So, that's my answer =)

  2. The egg.  The egg is a type of single cell.  It is analogous to the first organisms on earth.

  3. From the tense of your question, it seems that you are asking about a future event, in which case I can categorically say that the chicken will come after the egg, assuming the chicken we speak of is the product of the statement and not a chicken parent producing an egg.

As for what "came" first, the chicken or the egg...its a little harder or a little easier, depending on how you ask it. If you mean it in the philosophical sense, the question cannot be answered. In the more literal sense, the egg came first. However it was not the egg of a chicken, but the egg of a predecessor species. The modern chicken will have been a mutation of its parent, egg-producing species. It will then have produced the first CHICKEN egg (although the first chicken was probably a rooster, so then its female offspring would have produced the first chicken egg), whereas actual eggs have been around millions of years longer than chickens.

  4. The egg.

The amniote egg predates avians by millions of years.

  5. i think dat originally there was a massive fir ball in da middle ov nowhere. then, ova millions of years it gradually turned into a hen. then  the hen layed eggs and the cycle begins

    lol

  6. CHICKEN

The modern chicken was believed to have descended from another closely related species of birds, the red junglefowl, but recently discovered genetic evidence suggests that the modern domestic chicken is a hybrid descendant of both the red junglefowl and the grey junglefowl. Assuming the evidence bears out, a hybrid is a compelling scenario that the egg came before the chicken.
