Rumor...thats all it is.  I'm not a wealthy person but I am a wise person and I am doing fine in my financial life.  I'm a home owner with a mortgage and I have a fixed rate.  I'm not worried about medical costs because I have good health insurance.  I'm not worried about gas prices because I work out of my home and have no need to drive around other than to get to the store.  If Americans weren't so "Plastic" happy and desperate to own a home when they could have rented and saved the money for a downpayment instead of being in a situation of foreclosure then we'd be fine.  If people weren't so quick to sue hospitals just to get an easy buck then maybe healthcare wouldn't cost so much.  Healthcare is so high because doctors are terrified of being sued so they do defensive medicine to make sure they did everything possible to diagnose someone.  People who are in positions like these can only blame themselves.  You make your own debt by living outside of your means.
