What will get rid of wee smell in carpet

i have a 3 year old that still uses a potty at night to do a wee. but he keeps missing it and weeing on the floor. what can i use to clean the smell out of the carpet.

I like Nature's Miracle - it's sold in pet supply stores (I have a 14 year old incontinent dog).  The enzymes break down the urine instead of just masking it, and I've found there isn't any residue left.

Blot up the stain as much as you can.  Spray the Nature's Miracle on what's left, wait about 20 minutes, blot that up. You may have to do this a few times until the liquid no longer has a yellow tinge to it.  Blotting is key - you want to lift the urine out, not push it into the padding by dousing it with water or something.  Do NOT steam clean  - the hot water will set the stain, and the smell.

20 mule team borax powder, comes in a 3lb box and get it at your grocer or hardware store, wet the carpet a little and sprinkle it in  let dry and vac out, repeat as needed

that could be tough.they have sprinkle on cleaners.then rub with a brush.vacume.relocate the pot in a waterproof location.teach him to sit.that is the most sanitary way.i always sit.in my own home.good luck.im a man.

Nature's Miracle.  It's from the Pet Store but if it works for dog urine it should work for human urine too.

I also use Vinegar if I'm out of Nature's Miracle.  Once it's aired out the vinegar smell is gone and so is the urine smell.
