I have Windows XP.

Here is my dilema.

I am about to install a SMF forum onto my new website, but the SMF is only for Linux. If I did install it, what could I expect to happen?

  1. Probably nothing. Windows cannot read Linux executables. However, the program Cygwin allows Windows to run linux programs compiled under Cygwin.

  3. smf is not only for linux. its just a forum, that you install on your website. windows, mac, and liux can use it.
