The world will go on as it always has. This is just the latest of hundreds of predictions of the end of the world, and we've survived every one.

Scientists don't expect anything out of the ordinary to happen in the year 2012, or specifically on the date December 21, other than the solstice, which happens every year.

None of the "predicted" happenings for 2012 hold up under close scrutiny. "Planet X" and "Nibiru" simply don't exist. The Mayan calendar ends a cycle, but there were no predictions of the end of the world. The Sun doesn't line up with the galactic centre; it's 6 degrees off. No asteroids or comets are actually predicted to hit Earth.

All of this stuff was put together by crackpots in order to promote their books and TV shows, and shamelessly promoted by the History Channel. Don't take any of it seriously!

No, you wont even be able to drive, you wont even be able to get your food at the store, you will have to survive on your own. You wont have a house, a car, maybe a bike if you're lucky.You wont have electronics, you wont have  a job, you will wonder the streets in total confusion not knowing what to do, and you will think back to Yahoo answer and think, "d**n, those people we thought were idiots, were actually right, it did happen" and within minutes you and everybody you know and love will be dead. Ive tried to help people on here realize whats going to happen, Ive given advice, given my support, given my understanding, and people ahve denied it. When you think back on your life, right before you die, remember that the meaning of life isnt to strive for a material world, it is to realize that we as human beings are at least special within our own solar system, our purpose is to reproduce and carry on the human species, advance intellectually, physically, so that one day we may be able to reach the universe. We have already failed, we have focused on living for personal greed, and not the human species, global warming was the test of man to get in touch with nature, with mother earth, with the energy frequencies that are "spirits" , that govern our very existence and decide our fates. You wont find the information you are looking for on Yahoo answers, you must go out and learn, about yourself, about the universe, about the meaning of life, and maybe you might figure it all out in time to save yourself and others you care about.
