What will happen if Global Warming continues?

I always thought of this to be an interesting topic.I'm trying harder and harder every day to be more climate friendly.What do you think on this topic and what do you think will happen in the near future?

What's happened so far is that 25% of the Arctic ice cap has melted.  Some of the permafrost has melted, releasing methane - a greenhouse gas - into the atmosphere, raising the temperature even higher (which will release more methane, which will raise the temperature, which will release more methane which ...)  Melting ice decreases the albedo of the planet (the amount of light reflected) which increases the temperature, which decreases the albedo, which ...

But let's not worry, because it's just a liberal plot, it's a way for the wealthy (who definitely aren't liberals) are just using it to make more money and, besides, who wants to give anything up unless we're absolutely certain that global warming is true.  (And if we're wrong we'll all be dead, so who cares anyway?)

As earth warms we make more desert lands. We will continue to destroy wetlands, rainforest's, and grasslands causing more heating and more deserts. We continue to burn fuel do nothing about the peak of oil and one day about 10 years from now gas is $15 per gallon. half of the people that lived on earth 10 years ago are no longer with us. We spend more and more time and energy just digging holes in the ground for them. We must spend $20 trillion dollars on renewable energy to avoid the coming floods, sea raise and loss of farmland.

Most likely plant life and animals will prosper. Most plants thrive at around 80 degrees. Currently,  the earth averages around 55.

It will create havoc in the existing living condition.  Futile lands will become dessert.  Lakes and Rivers will dry up.  Dessert will get more flooding.  Plains will get flooded more.  More tropical storms and stronger in intensity.  Ocean lives will die out except for the top 500 ft.

The eventual result is actually ICE AGE.  The reason behind is complicated.  But in a simple form, the ocean currents will stop and the conveyor belt that transfer heat to the poles Will stop and ice cap will start to grow again.  Majority of the living things will die on this planet.  But it might take few hundreds of years for that to happen.
