i wouldnt do that. and yes they are yummy...haha. but my friends sister ate a whole bottle of gummy vitamins when she was little, and she had to get her stomach pumped at the emergency room.

Some vitamins are water-soluble and are just excreted in your urine.  Some vitamins and minerals, however, accumulate in your body and can be toxic.  Iron would be the biggest concern since the vitamin A is probably in the form of beta carotene.  But it's a really bad idea.  Think of them like an OTC medication and take them as recommended.  If you want sour gummies that aren't potentially toxic, go buy some sour patch kids.

(Also, since you're in the V&V section, I feel compelled to point out that Flintstones gummies are very unlikely to be vegetarian...)

Haha yeah, they are yummy, but you can definitely overdose on vitamins.

Let me tell you a story.

I have iron supplement pills that look exactly like my generic aspirin. Once I'm sitting there with my boyfriend watching a movie in the dark and I reach into my little tiny case thing that I have of pills.... and I grab 6 ibuprofen (because I have a high tolerance), only they weren't ibuprofen. They were iron pills. So I start puking suddenly. I'm like what the frack. And then I realize. And I spend the night in the hospital getting my stomach pumped.

If they're vitamins, can be a bit risky, but not unless repeated often.

It's very bad.  Overdose of vitamin A is toxic.
