What will happen if Obama's 8th month?

What will happen if Obama does win the Presidential race and 8 months after his innaguration we experience another terrorist attack on the same scale as the WTC. Will everyone be blaming the attack on Obama for the duration of his term?

I would say it would have to do with how he handled the situation after it happened, it wouldn't be his fault that it did happen, because crazy people are unpredictable, but if he handled it the way Bush did then yea people would probably be mad at him and blame him for it.

Depends. If he ignored the recommendations of the outgoing administration regarding terrorism and did nothing about it, and failed to act on a National Security Briefing that said Al-Quaeda wanted to attack the US, then he would certainly be blameworthy.

Of course, I can't imagine a President doing that.

each person in power has the opportunity to use such a disaster to their benefit. Bush used it to some huge excess. Obama is smart, very smart. If it happens believe me he will come out on top.

why terrorists exist in the first place is independent on an American pres, but has more to do with american imperialism. We are today what Rome was way back when. We expand our trade by exporting our culture. Some folks in some countries want their own culture. They want manifest destiny.
