  1. I do this all the time. Crushed snails are freshly killed live food, and fish thrive best on live food. Some can get at the snail themselves, but guppies need you to help them by crushing the snail.

I have used this to train my guppies and platies to take food from my fingers.

  2. YOU CRUSHED A SNAIL???!!! Ouch!

Your guppy will have more protein than usual.

  3. Nothing will happen. In their natural habitat they would eat things like plants and snails, anything smaller than them really.

  4. nothing will ahppen, in the wild fish will almost eat anything that is smaller than them unless it was poisenous...(snails are not poisenous)
