What will happen if i change the front wheel from 17" to 16" on my 850cc motorcycle?

It will spin faster due to having to make more revolutions to travel the same distance. Also if the speedometer is driven by the front wheel then your speed will be off slightly. If it is a sport bike it might affect handling a little but probably not enough to be hard to ride

OK guys... wrong, wrong, wrong... if the TIRE is the same diameter (larger side wall) nothing will happen. Just the rim is smaller.

nothing really..it sharpens up the cornering i little....as long as the calipers match up with the discs youll be ok...
