See i recently just won an item on eBay. When i was trying to pay for it; It kept telling me that my item wasn't available any more! Every time i would email the seller they would send me an automatic response and it wasn't helping me not one bit(3 times). So in return i emailed the response back stating that I did not want to do business with them anymore. the following business day a real live person emailed me and i told them the same!

  1. Well, if it says that your item wasn't available then you don't have to pay for it. If the seller reports to eBay for a non payment you simply inform Paypal who's doing the transaction of what happen and make sure to save copies of those messages for proof. The only thing thats going ot affect you is if they leave you a negative feedback on your eBay account. The only way to pervent this from happening is to leave them a feedback first, eBay makes it now so that if the seller doesn't like your rating they can't automatically leave you a negative.

  2. Probaby nothing.  Sounds like maybe the seller or Ebay pulled the item.  Seller could have found a flaw and it had been described as perfect, or could be something illegal to sell.  Maybe the item was tossed in the trash by a spouse.  Any number of reasons.

If someone win an item and then just didn't pay for it, the seller can give them a bad rating.

  3. Hi,

There is a good possibility that they may leave you negative feedback. Usually a winning bid constitutes a contract between the buyer and the seller. However, if they ran out of stock on an item, I don't see how they can hold you accountable for that. Check your feedback. If they have left you poor feedback, you can respond to it. Then you may wish to leave negative feedback of  your own. It sounds as though you tried to resolve it with the seller first. That is always the best route to go before leaving negative feedback.

    Best of luck to you.

  4. I myself sell and buy off of ebay. Do you have paypal? Most of the time, that's all seller will accept.(paypal) The best thing on this one is file a dispute with ebay. You can do this by going to the site map in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Or go to live help and ask them how to go about this problem. I've had problems with people not paying me. They'll bid/ win and then never pay. This will hurt your score. So, I would do what I said and this will help you out. If you need anymore help just email me.

  5. deft a negative feedback.

  6. A negative rating will be given.
