What will happen if i dont dry clean corduroy when it says dry clean only?

ok well i want this pair of pants from forever 21 but i really don't have a lot of money to spend on dry cleaning. what do you think will happen if i don't dry clean them and do you have any alternative to dry cleaning???

the will shrink and you will be able to give them at a baby shower

If you wash corduroy - the nap will crush.  They will look washed and wrinkled forever.

If it says dry clean - dry clean.  You can do those Dryel things in your dryer - they work pretty good.

Wash them in cold water and vinegar first on gentle. If they aren't really dirty then you could just rinse on cold and hang to dry. If they say to dry clean only then don't use the dryer. If you want to wash them then do them in cold on a gentle wash or even hand wash with baby shampoo and rinse again with vinegar to remove any soap and hang to dry. Make sure you are using a very short gentle wash.

After they are dry you could iron them from the inside to get out any creases.

Wash them on the gentle cycle or better hand wash them in woolite; stretch them into shape and let them air dry. DO NOT put thein the dryer or they will shrink.
