Heck, I dye my  hair after bleaching all the time.  In fact, I do it the same day on purpose for effect.  Go for it if you want to.  Now, if you way overprocessed your hair (bleached it big time), you might want to wait a week or so and give it some huge conditioning in the meantime.  But otherwise, it's no big deal.  Have fun.  Just remember, the color is a bit different after bleached than it is if you dyed it over darker hair.

Breakage and split ends are what you will look forward to. Bleaching and coloring are harsh processes to begin with. If the bleached hair has not been taken care of properly then coloring over top of it will inflict more damage. If you do color then you will need many deep conditioning treatments to stave off the breakage and splitting.

Bleached hair is very porous and broken down, there is no way to tell. Any color you try to put over it could come out either very uneven, too dark or very orangy. I would definitely go to a professional because they will know the right dye and products to use, otherwise more than likely you will wind up at the salon having them fix it and it will cost you a lot more money.

well, if you have done to many color treatments to your hair already, the chemicalse can react to the bleach and your hair will break!
