What will happen if i put a 18g in a 14g piercing? ?

i just got a 14g helix cartilage piercing, i want to know what will happen if i start to use a 18g piercing, i know i should wait around 3-6 months before i change it, I'm also thinking of going to a shop so they can change it for me so i wont risk the hole closing on me, but i guess what I'm asking is what are the effects? will the hole shrink? will i be able to put a 14g piercing back in if i do start using a 18g? will it heal weird if i change it before its fully healed? (like in 3 months) will i get any bumps?

not a good idea, the holes are that size at the start for a reason...so you can get earrings in easily once healed.

also by having it changed you increase the healing time, by about 2-4 weeks.

i know its hard but just wait:-)
