Ignoring for a moment the physical impossibility, surprisingly little would be disrupted. Even if money didn't exist, the concept still would, and banks would still have records of how much every person had. Either more money would be printed or people would trade on credit. For a civilization to exist on the level that humans have brought it to, a universal currency is necessary and will remain necessary, despite it being commonly portrayed as one of the world's biggest evils.
