What will happen if other habitable planets are found?

Question

Will every religion want their own planet? Every race? A planet for the sick, one for prisoners? How would people react upon finding out there is more then just the Earth?

I actually believe that there is other planets with living creatures on it, maybe even humans. I bet NASA would start a mission to get there. If we haven't found a planet with life on it by now though, chances are is that it is very far away. I think we live together pretty well with different religions, well at least in most places. I would hope people wouldn't think it was bad but they have to think  is a great thing. If we gave a planet to the prisoners, I don't think it would be considered prison, but I giant criminal party. I think it does exist and it would be awesome if humans lived on it.

There will be and surly there are other habitable planets.  But it doesn't really matter because they are way too far away to be habitable by us.  I'm sure that they will however be claimed by religious interests because they are in effect a threat to their doctrine.
