  1. depends on what locality you're in, they have different laws regarding insurance. In some, the guy's own insurance may have to pay for his claim regardless of fault.

Most likely scenario if he tried to file a claim against you is that b/c he failed to get a police report, he would be hard pressed to even prove the accident happened (especially if there is no damage to the car). If you get a call from his insurance, don't tell them anything, talk to a lawyer or your own insurance company first. This is not trying to get you out of it, just some protection from a possibly fraudulent claim. Basically the other guy should be under the burden of proof to show that whatever injuries actually exist and were caused by that accident. Which, by your description, all he will have is his word.

  2. your ins. may go up in some states alot of insurance companys allow 1 minor acc. if there are no problems with damaged property, injuries, ect... Good Luck

  3. You needed to get a police report for your protection and as for what might happen, the sky is the limit and yes your insurance will go up.
