  1. Actually it is always better to have more wattage than the speakers can handel. Just go easy on the volume control. Most good speakers can accept a bit more wattage than their input rating. An underpowered amp can cause more damage to your speakers  if it runs out of "steam"and sends a distorted signal to you speakers.

  2. If that's total system wattage, 60w speakers would be fine. Usually the wattage is split between channels, 110w for 2 channel would be 55w per channel. Stereo is a 2 channel system.

  3. as long as you dont turn the volume up to where the speakers are scratchy and unclear,  they should be fine.

  4. Ummmm.... If you decide you want to turn the music up then you will end up blowing your speakers out! and thats not good. You should always plug in speakers that can take on that amount of Watt's.

  5. In truth - you damage speakers by under-powering them so you want more wattage in the amp.

And on average - your amp is pushing 8-10 watts to a speaker at any given time. But you need to DOUBLE the wattage to increase the volume by 1 db so you need the power to handle volume swings.

So you have a ideal solution. Just listen for distortion if you turn up the volume and turn back the volume if things sound funny.
