  1. It depends whether there's any mud on them.  If they're just not as white as when u started with them it won't do anything.

(I really had to control myself on this answer)

  2. Women won't be as fond of them as before when they were clean!

And the serious answer is yes, clean them, dish soap and water, works wonders, just don't let them sit in there too long!

  3. I'm sure, dirty balls will effect ball flight... how much... I dont know.

But, I am sure... that I will more confidence if I hit clean ball.... In golf we need confidence.. If I see mud on golf ball, as long as I can clean it... I will.

  4. You could get crabs

  5. Like the guy above me says.... a dirty ball is a muddy ball.

Personally, I wash mine at the beginning of each hole. That way I can look for anything wrong with the ball. Sometimes I’ll shank the ball so hard, it leaves scratches or [sometimes] dents. That for me is enough to pin ALL bad hits on the ball. Haha

Really, I would clean your ball every few holes and check for damage as you want a ball that’s new and free from damage so that you can maximize your shots.

  6. the spin on the ball will be reduced

  7. You get a cheesy smell right around the legs.

  8. You were right to re-ask this question in Polls & Surveys.

  9. You always seem to play better with clean shiney balls.  Just like your car always runs better after you wash it.
