  2. Lol my friend and I just tryed this when I saw this question. We put 1 mento in a big soda bottle and put the lid on tight. I timed on my watch, 17.89 seconds til... It happend... It BLEW up!!! it flew up in the air and it landed in my pool. I had to get in and get it... even tho the water was cold and green... lol. And the cap had a hole in it when I saw it. Lol. So thats what would happen
