  1. This happened many years ago in the small town where I grew up.  The driver stopped suddenly and a steel beam flew forward into the cab, killing him instantly.


  2. there are too many potential things that can happen to list, worst being the load seperates from the truck and kills someone, to nothing cuz the driver did a good job of securing the load and the vehicle comes to a stop.  No doubt a few flat spots on the tires from skidding, lots of pretty blue smoke, and a driver who's heart rate skyrocketed.  Been there, done that, no fun at all.

  3. A lot of tire smoke first, possible jack-knife, possible loss of the load, possible death to the driver and or other people or nothing if the driver handles the truck correctly.

  4. It would take at least 100 feet to stop.
