My fiance do not want his parents to know that he is getting married. (Well I am kinda against it, but as of now, I can't do anything. So I just need an advice about my question.)

My fiance is the beneficiary on his mom's health insurance, and a driver in his dad's auto insurance. If he is going to get married without telling them, will there be a problem with the insurance policies?

He will get his own insurance policies when we get married anyway.

  2. Health insurance policies don't have beneficiaries.  They have insureds.  So, he's INSURED on his mom's policy.  When he gets his own policy, that will become his primary policy, and the coverage under his mom's policy will become secondary, until/unless they find out he's married - and then she'll have to pay back whatever benefits he received after he got married (which disqualifies you as being a dependent).

  3. Once you 2 become wed, he is no longer a dependent on their policies.  Any claims filed after the wedding date will most likely need to be paid and his parents will get the bad mark.  Not him.

Once the new policies are in place, tell his parents.  That protects them.
