  1. You should be able to survive for about a month on just water.  I don't recommend it.  I do know someone who lives on 500 calories a day.  She's unusual.

It's not just about calories, though.

  2. Food is not the enemy. If you are looking to lose weight, just eat healthily and exercise. Being skinny will be of no use to you if you are dead from starvation.

  3. You will wake up (maybe) in a hospital. One day a week fasting will do wonders. 7 days will kill you. You are talking about a diet less than the Jews had in the German camps. Look at some of the old pictures at what you will look like. If you think they look kind of good, PLEASE get some help. Take a self-drawn picture of what you think you look like with you so that the advisor can see that you really mean it. The anorexic or bolemic all draw themselfs as looking fat even though they are not. It is a dead giveaway that self image is the problem. People forget that Maralon Monroe (who everyone thought was absolutely one of the sexyist women) was actually 140-150 lbs. through out her career.

  4. Why do you keep asking all these questions? You should know by now that your going to die pretty soon..if that'ss what you want keep doing what your doing. Face it you need help! I'm probably just wasting my time telling you this..but you are going to GAIN weight doing what your doing. Eat 1500 calories MINIMUM!!

  5. Whats this have to do with astronomy.

  6. You will die -- try this instead

  7. Sure - you'll lose a lot. Your life, for one thing.

It may be a good idea to read up on nutrition.

  8. I'm not sure where Brian got his facts but people have fasted for longer than a month and survived from drinking. Without fluids you die after several days.

The type of diet you are considering is not very practical. The exercise you plan to do to burn off more calories will be ridiculously difficult without energy. You will also lose muscle and be lethargic and cranky for most of the time. Crash dieting also allows the dieter to gain weight back much more quickly than if they had raised their metabolism from proper diet and exercise and then quit. Basically, you don't want to do it.

  9. What are you talking about? Starving yourself? Starving leads to weight loss and eventually death if not stopped.

A better way to lose weight is by eating balanced, healthy meals and exercising for an hour everyday.
