Here's the thing... He will use his 30 leave days and his travel agent told him that he can only stay here for 21 days or else he will need to get a visa. He have no more time to get a visa so Im wondering what will happen.

  1. This is dicey.  The average tourist who does this gets fined $50 - $100 at immigration and goes on to his flight.

The fact that he is US military could change the equation.  I like the idea of flying out to the closest country, getting a new visa and then return.

  2.   Do not mess with the Govt!  Do you really want to know what will happen?  This is not mom and dad in a world with no consiquenses this is real life and government with big consiquenses.  God forbid they give him trouble leaving then he has the government and the marines to deal with

  3. Immediately when he arrives he can go to immigration in Intramuros and apply for an extended visa.  No big problem.  There are also agencies offering these services for foreigners.  Check at the Swagman hotel in Ermita, they process several per day.

  4. quick answer, have him get a out bound ticket on tiger air to macau from clark within the 21 day period, after he arrives he can use the ticket to leave the country and return to start another 21 days or if he not use the ticket go to the immigrations and extend his visa. depends on where he is at it not take long, Olongapo/ subic takes about 30 minutes

  5. Tipical story. Soilder boy gets hand job at buy me drinky bar in Okinawa falls in love and gives his paycheck to you.

  6. Active Duty Military assigned in foreign countries do not use a passport or visa.  Their military ID is their passport but they also need to be on official orders to be where they are.  He can stay there as long as he is assigned there.  He's not a tourist so that travel agent knows nothing about it and need to shut up.

However, If he is on his own time with his own passport he better be very careful because as far as I know, active duty military are not allowed independent travel in Philippines.  He will be in BIG trouble with the US Government as well as the Philippines Government.  There are certain groups of people in Philippines who would go out of their way to kidnap him for their advantage. BIG PROBLEM!
