Question:

What will happen to my package?

I am an ebay member and sold a book to another member. I have never sold books before and sold a hardcover book. I wanted to ship it right away so I mailed it in a manila envelope and used packing tape to seal it on one side.

When I got to the clerk at the post office she was a bit skeptical and taped the other side with her packing tape. I was on my way to work so I rushed out of there and did not even pay for confirmation.

My only worry is that the book with break away from the manila envelope and never make it to the person that bought it. I know I should have thought this better.

What is the worst case scenerio? Will the clerks put it in a different envelope if this happens?

  1. even dough if  you did not pay for confirmation of receiving the package still the post office will let you know. if you put your returned addressed in the envelope.

if something happen to the package you will receive a note from the people who is receiving the package how they received it. don't worry everything is going to be okay

  2. I doubt it will break. If the tape was secure you shouldn't worry. It also depends on how heavy the book it. I ship things on eBay in my own manila envelopes all the time. Usually when I get books though they come in a box.

  3. if u didnt pay for postage and packaging then the package will be at the post office, i would go back to the post office and see what happend,
