  1. Silvia's and Arlovskis contracts could possibly be for one or

two fights and they could very well end up back in the UFC by

next year, depending on how well Affliction does. Affliction is

throwing alot of money around right now and is going to lose

alot of money from lack of pay per view buys at their first show.

  2. There are still some very good fighters in that division or have you forgotten about Big Nog? I wouldn't worry about this division just yet. I prefer when there isn't three guys who sit at the top in the same order for a year any way. With Randy gone ( an excellent fighter) it opens up room for some of the other talent to make their mark. Couture, personally, has been around to long. I think it is great that he can still compete, but the sport and the UFC are looking to the future and Randy Couture is holding them in the past. I felt the same way about Tito. Both men did alot for the Sport and Brand but now it seems they are just trying to tarnish it and its president.

  3. wow, ok heres how it is.

Couture didnt start a new company nor has he even signed with a new promotion yet.

The new promotion your probably thinking of is Affliction, it was started by the clothing company of the same name. Couture is not under contract to them as far as I know. Most of the UFC's top heavies did not leave for affliction. Tim Silvia was not resigend by the UFC and he signed with Affliction, as did Andre Arlovski who I heard the UFC wanted to keep, but he left. Affliction aslo has Fedor right now, who is probably the best heavie in the world although he was never signed with the UFC so he couldnt leave there. Affliction aslo has a few other good heavies I dont think any of them were recently signed with the UFC so they didnt leave. (I might be forgetting someone, but I'm not sure). Randy Couture is not sigend with Affliction though.

All that being said The UFC HW division is still the deepest and may be the best among all the promotions. Affliction does have Fedor, Silvia, and Arlovski, which is great but the UFC is deeper and has more young talent, so I'm sure they will be fine.

  4. i think with a little more experience brock lesnar could be promising.

  5. Space Monkey thank you for coming down to earth and explaining this to Mister R.

Randy isn't going to be fighting, promoting or appearing on any MMA events any time soon. The only thing you are going to see him doing is training in Vegas out of Extreme Couture and appearing on MMAWeekly talk shows.

The UFCs HWD did take a "punch to the gut" when they lost Syliva and Arlovski; however, they have more fighters than any other organization just not well known.... just yet. Nog, Mir, Werdum, Vera, Gonzaga, Kongo, Herring, Carwin, McCully and Lesnar are all good fighters and will be the future HWs.

  6. You are a freaking idiot...dont post questions with facts that are not true.  Randy owns no company, he walked away from the UFC.  The UFC has one of the top 2 heavyweights in the world with NOG, the only one who beats him is Fedor.  Again your an idiot
