It will be different for the body and for your health. Don't know what you exactly mean. In the case of health HIV decrease gradually your number of T lymphocytes. These cells are the major actors in immune answer after an infection. Moreover HIV could destroy some cells implicated in immune response such dendritic cells and macrophages. So HIV patients become permissive to opportunist infections, in most of cases they lost weight and become very tired due to desease.  At the end if it is not possible to restor the immune system the patient die.
